Welcome

A Worldview Equipping Conference

Friday, February 26 - Sunday, February 28, 2016
at Fellowship Church Knoxville

Adults

Conference Audio and Video Below.

Identity. Intimacy. Gender. Sex. Orientation. Our world is living in sexual confusion. How are we to make sense of human sexuality in light of our current culture? How can we help others make sense of it? What does God have to say about who we are, our sexual desires and our intimate lives? Is it even possible to view and use our sexuality for God’s glory and Christ’s purposes in our world? Join us as we explore a biblical worldview of sexuality and how to reflect this worldview to those around us.

We will take a closer look at how we are to understand sexual identity, sexual orientation, sexual intimacy and sexual differences. We will discover that at the heart of human sexuality is the Gospel, which gives us a foundation for understanding and realizing the incredible purpose and power God has in creating us as sexual beings.

Limited childcare is available for six-weeks through pre-K. Please register early.

College

Is it possible to view and use our sexuality for God’s glory and Christ’s purposes? How are we to make sense of human sexuality in the midst of our culture? How can we help others make sense of it? What does God have to say about who we are, our sexual desires and our intimate lives as a college student?

The Grounded Retreat weekend will include the Worldview Conference, staying in host homes with friends, a Saturday evening gathering and much more.

High School

Being a teenager in the 21st century means many things. It means you have never lived without the internet, you have only heard how amazing Michael Jordan was, and living in a world where your home phone is connected to a wall is a foreign concept. It also means that you have grown up in a society that is saturated with sex. It's on magazine covers, in the lyrics of most mainstream songs, and a common topic of conversation in the media. But what do you believe about it? And where do you get your beliefs?

Join us for Worldview Weekend as we explore sexual identity, sexual wholeness, sexual orientation, and sexual boundaries in light of what God's Word has to say about it all. The weekend will include worship, staying in host homes with friends, serving together, broomball, and much more.

Children

It's vital that we help our children see and understand God’s plan for creation and for their lives, even at their early age. Just what is a worldview? Why is a worldview something we choose?

This will be a time to encourage our kids in learning how to think about worldview with games, crafts, food and fun. With age appropriate content for kindergarten through 5th grade, we look forward to watching God engage the hearts of children through our time together.

Parents: our children’s program for parents attending the conference (Friday & Saturday) will be held in the 200 wing. You may check in your children fifteen minutes prior to the beginning of the conference, and check them out immediately following.

There is limited enrollment space for K-5 - please register early.

At the heart of human sexuality is the Gospel
